<strong>Installation</strong> Notes<br />

The installation must comply with local <strong>and</strong> national regulations concerning the<br />

compressed air supply <strong>and</strong> <strong>SVI</strong> <strong>II</strong> <strong>AP</strong> instrument.<br />

<strong>Installation</strong> <strong>and</strong> maintenance must be performed only by qualified personnel. <strong>SVI</strong><br />

<strong>II</strong> <strong>AP</strong> repairs beyond the scope of this manual must be performed by the factory.<br />

Area Classification, Protection Type, Temperature Class, Gas Group, <strong>and</strong><br />

Ingress protection must conform to the data indicated on the label.<br />

Wiring <strong>and</strong> conduit must conform to all local <strong>and</strong> national codes governing the<br />

installation. Wiring must be rated for at least 85º C (185º F) or 5º C (41º F) above<br />

max ambient, whichever is greater.<br />

Approved wire seals against ingress of water <strong>and</strong> dust are required <strong>and</strong> the 1/2"<br />

NPT fittings must be sealed with tape or pipe dope in order to meet the highest<br />

level of ingress protection.<br />
