Multiple Output Circuit Control System<br />
ValVue supports HART devices including, the <strong>SVI</strong> <strong>II</strong> <strong>AP</strong> with non-zero polling addresses<br />
<strong>and</strong> supports for multiple <strong>SVI</strong> <strong>II</strong> <strong>AP</strong> on the same loop, for split ranging. To enable this<br />
support, check the Multidrop box as shown in Figure 65. If unchecked, ValVue looks for<br />
devices only at polling address 0.<br />
Click Allow Multidrop <strong>and</strong> click either:<br />
From <strong>and</strong> choose an address range from 0 to 63. Choosing a range limits scan<br />
time.<br />
Specific <strong>and</strong> enter an address or addresses, where you enter one or multiple<br />
addresses separated by commas. This also limits scan time.<br />
DCS systems offer multiple independent analog outputs driven by the same control signal<br />
to solve the voltage problem with split ranged positioners. Use of such systems is<br />
recommended for split range applications. The HART address of each <strong>SVI</strong> <strong>II</strong> <strong>AP</strong> are 0.<br />
