a. Only plastic bottles marked with the #1 recycling symbols (PET) shall be placed in the<br />
designated plastic bottle recycling container for your area.<br />
b. If the container becomes full before its regularly scheduled pickup, the Custodial Contractor<br />
X39563 shall be contacted.<br />
4.3.2.8 Precious Metals<br />
Refer to Chapter 3, Managing Industrial Solid Waste for requirements for managing precious<br />
metals.<br />
4.3.2.9 Scrap Metals<br />
a. Aluminum, steel, copper and other types of scrap metal shall be recycled through JSC’s<br />
Scrap Metal Recycling Program.<br />
(1) Scrap metal shall be segregated into separate containers.<br />
(2) When containers are full:<br />
(a) JSC Form 25A ―Request for Turn-In or Issue of Excess Property To/From JSC<br />
Redistribution and Utilization‖ shall be completed.<br />
(b) Logistics Work Control X42222 shall be contacted for pickup.<br />
4.3.2.10 Toner and Ink Jet Cartridges<br />
