\ RRIYING at <strong>Zanzibar</strong>, October the 12tli,<br />

we found the harbour hterally crowded<br />

with dhows of every k<strong>in</strong>d, and among them<br />

several full of slaves, nom<strong>in</strong>ally bound for<br />

Lamoo, but from reliable <strong>in</strong>formation we<br />

received, we had no doubt that several<br />

of them<br />

were determ<strong>in</strong>ed to run the gauntlet along the<br />

coast ;<br />
