nanodac RECORDER/CONTROLLER: USER GUIDE4.19 BCD INPUTPart of the ‘Toolkit Blocks’ option, this block derives decimal and two-decade binary coded decimal (BCD)values from eight discrete inputs, where input 1 is the least significant input (2 0 = 1) and input 8 is the mostsignificant (2 7 = 128). The example below shows that for inputs 2, 4, 6 and 8 high, the decimal input valueis 170, but the BCD value is invalid.
