Storefrontsprovide a means for commercial <strong>use</strong>s to orient display toward <strong>and</strong> access directlyfrom public sidewalks. By providing visibility into these commercial spaces,pedestrian interest is enhanced to contribute to the pedestrian experience <strong>and</strong>encourage high pedestrian volumes. Storefronts <strong>and</strong> associated ground floorcommercial space shall be required for certain properties with lot lines along<strong>Garden</strong> <strong>Grove</strong> Boulevard, Acacia Parkway, Main Street, <strong>and</strong> Euclid Street, asindicated on Figure 9.18-11 (CC Required Storefronts/Ground Floor CommercialUses).1. Where storefronts are required pursuant to Figure 9.18-11 (CC RequiredStorefronts/Ground Floor Commercial Uses), required commercial space shallhave a minimum depth of 40 feet for a minimum of 60 percent of the lengthof the building façade measured parallel to the property line. The storefrontshall be oriented toward the street indicated in Figure 9.18-11 (CC RequiredStorefronts/Ground Floor Commercial Uses).2. Commercial space shall be occupied by a commercial <strong>use</strong> that is permitted inthe zone pursuant to Table 9.18-1 (Use Regulations for the Mixed Use Zones)of this Chapter.3.
