Setbacks, as required by Section 9.18.090 (Development St<strong>and</strong>ardsSpecific to Individual Mixed Use Zones) <strong>and</strong> Section 9.18.100(Development <strong>and</strong>Design St<strong>and</strong>ards Applicable to All Mixed Use Zones), are diagramed in Figure9.18-13 (Required Setbacks).Figure 9.18-13: Required Setbacks1. <strong>Garden</strong> <strong>Grove</strong> Boulevard Adjacent Setbacks. For properties with anyproperty line abutting the <strong>Garden</strong> <strong>Grove</strong> Boulevard right-of-way, saidproperty line shall be considered the front line for the purpose of determiningrequired setbacks.2. Setbacks Unobstructed. Required setbacks shall be open <strong>and</strong> unobstructedfrom the ground to the sky except for trees <strong>and</strong> other plant material. Nobuilding, parking space, or turning aisle to any parking space shall occupy anyportion of any required setback. Easements for utilities (e.g., electrical,communications) are exempt from the requirements of this Section.3. Permitted Intrusions in Setbacks. The following may project into anyrequired setback a maximum of two feet: cornices, eaves, belt courses, sills,buttresses, planter boxes, masonry planters, guard railings, chimneys orsimilar architectural features.4. Setback Point of Measurement.
