Accumulated dust on fans and heat sinkcan cause the frequency inverter to overheat.Removing the fan:hComplete the following steps with the specified tools andwithout using force.565414323POWERHzALARMAPOWERI ORUNPRGHzALARMAPRG ENTERRUNI OPRGFigure 169:Replacing the device fanFigure 168: Removal sequence for device fanX Insert a flat screwdriver in the middle recess and use to lever offthe cover 1 .X Pull out the fan’s connector 2 .X With your hand, press in the retainer on either side 3 and pullout the fan support 4 . Guide the connecting cable and the plug2 through the cut-out.Replace the fan as follows:X To remove the fan 6 , release the fan from the clips 5 in thefan support.X Fit a new fan in reverse order to removal. Make sure that you fitthe fan in the correct position in its support, observing itsdirection of rotation and airflow.X When refitting the fan support 4 feed the connector 2 andconnecting cable back through the cut-out.X Reconnect the fan and refit the cover 1 , first inserting the threerear studs and then clipping in the two front studs by hand.X After refitting, test the fan’s function (direction of airflow,vibrations, unusual noise).190
