If personnel is endangered as a result, anexternal circuit must be provided which prevents a restartafter voltage recovery.j Warning!If the frequency inverter has been configured so that thestop signal is not issued through the OFF key on the LCDkeypad, pressing the OFF key will not switch off themotor. A separate Emergency-Stop switch must beprovided in this case.hhThe Start key is functional only if the correspondingparameters of the frequency inverter have beenconfigured accordingly (a section “Start/Stop signal”,page 78). This prevents the risk of damage and injury.If motors are to be operated at frequencies above thestandard 50 or 60 Hz, consult the motor manufacturer tomake sure that the motors are suitable for operation athigher frequencies. The motors could otherwise incurdamage.j Warning!Before carrying out maintenance and inspection work onthe frequency inverter, wait at least five minutes after thesupply voltage has been switched off. Failure to observethis point can result in electric shock as a result of the highvoltages involved.j Warning!Never pull on the cable to unplug connectors (for examplefor fan or circuit boards).i Caution!If a reset is carried out after a fault, the motor will startagain at once automatically if a start signal is appliedsimultaneously. To avoid the risk of serious or fatal injuryto personnel, you must ensure that the start signal is notpresent before acknowledging a fault message with areset.i Caution!When the supply voltage for the frequency inverter isapplied while the start signal is active, the motor will startimmediately. Make sure therefore that the start signal isnot active before the supply voltage is switched on.i Caution!Do not connect cables or connectors during operationwhen the supply voltage is switched on.49
