16.5.4 Acceleration Pre-ControlThe acceleration pre-control is active in the speed-controlled configurations and canbe activated via parameter Operation Mode 725 for acceleration pre-control.Operation modeFunction0 - Off The control system is not influenced.1 - Switched onThe acceleration pre-control is active according tothe limit values.The acceleration pre-control controlled parallel to the speed controller reduces thereaction time of the drive system to a change of reference values. The minimum accelerationtime defines the modification speed of the reference speed value as fromwhich a torque necessary for acceleration of the drive is pre-controlled. The accelerationof the mass is a function of the Mech. Time Constant 727 of the system. Thevalue calculated from the increase of the reference value and the multiplication factorof the torque required is added to the output signal of the speed controller.ParameterSettingsNo. Description Min. Time Constant 727 until the output values corresponds to the timemodification of the drive during the acceleration processes.16.5.5 Field ControllerThe flux-forming current component is controlled by the field controller. The guidedcommissioning optimizes the parameters of the field controller by measuring the timeconstant and magnetizing curve of the connected 3-phase machine. The parametersof the field controller are selected such that they can be used without changes in mostapplications.
