two additional WCH events in the latter half of its 100th year – the WCH Foundation’s inaugural Women
for Women’s fundraiser and the hospital’s annual commemoration marking the anniversary of the
Montreal Massacre. 3) New partnerships were established including: a) The creation of an Under/Never
Screened Program in partnership with St. Michael’s Hospital, Immigrant Women’s Health Centre,
Women’s Health in Women’s Hands as well as eight other community organizations. b) The creation of a
Crossroads Clinic developed with the help of 20 community organizations. The clinic provides access to
primary care services to refugees during their first two years in Canada. 4) Relations with UofT were
enhanced as demonstrated by the renewal of WCH’s affiliation agreement and the finalization of a
memorandum of understanding regarding the Centre for Ambulatory Care Extra Departmental Unit – a
partnership between WCH and UofT.
