Inverter Modes<br />

The Inverter's parameters and monitoring functions are organized in five groups that make it easier to read and<br />

adjust parameters.<br />

The 5 modes and their primary functions are shown in the Table 3.18.<br />

* Always perform autotuning with the motor before operating in the vector control modes.<br />

Primary function(s)<br />

Use this mode to start/stop the inverter, to monitor values such as the frequency references<br />

or output current and for displaying fault information or the fault history.<br />

Use this mode to read and set the basic parameters.<br />

Use this mode to reference and set all parameters.<br />

Use this mode to read/set parameters that have been changed from their factory-set<br />

values.<br />

Use this mode when running a motor with unknown motor data in the vector control<br />

modes. The motor data are measured/calculated and set automatically.<br />

This mode can also be used to measure only the motor line-to-line resistance.<br />
