the cause, and Aske in particular was fatally comproniised<br />

by his generous but futile efforts to save<br />

The Duke of Norfolk arrived at the head of a<br />

powerful army. He found disorder prevailing everywhere.<br />

and \Vcstmoreland were covered with bands of<br />
