RICHARD ALLEN SCOTT THROUGH THE YEARS Starting in May, for 3 months, I had a contract with the RCMP to conduct research of RCMP pay systems activities, processes and organizational structures. That was it until December, when I got a 2-month contract at Industry Canada to produce a high-level user requirements document for an automated, private-sector radio and television broadcasting licence application system. Traded in the 1998 Grand Prix for a 2003 Grand Prix. In October, Robyne started work at Expedia.ca travel as a telephone agent. Coming up on 3 years at Banff Detachment, Christopher decided that he would rather be in Ottawa with Jordan, not matter how much he enjoyed policing, so he applied for the only transfer that would most likely get him back here. That was to the Musical Ride. He’d never been on a horse before, but that’s the way the Ride likes its candidates, then they can teach him their way of riding (and horse care). RICHARD ALLEN SCOTT THROUGH THE YEARS 2004 For five months this year I was on contract at Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to produce a Business Continuity Strategy document for the “to be” state of the payroll solution of their Compensation Services Delivery Renewal Project (CSDRP), a $50M initiative to design and implement an integrated service delivery model and employee payroll solution. I also created a Contingency Strategy and a framework Memorandum of Understanding and Service Level Agreement for consideration by senior executives of CRA and PWGSC relative to their shared responsibility for the delivery of net payroll for 40,000 CRA employees. Christopher came to Ottawa for a successful month of equitation training in January and moved back here in May to begin his 4-year posting on the Musical Ride. We would often go and watch them practice. He would spend the next 4 years travelling the country and into the U.S. Robyne’s career with WestJet began in March of this year, with a position as a Customer Service Agent at Ottawa Airport. Sharon got herself a part-time job at Curves, but was let go because she was having too much fun! They didn’t ‘let her go’ properly, so we took them to the Ontario Labour Board…and Curves had to pay.
