February saw us
again in the
Dominican
Republic (Punta
Cana) for
another round of
defrosting.
Always a
pleasure to feel
the heat.
Mid-year, Tim accepted the position of Vice President Logistics and Operations – Ontario – for
Metro Inc., a network of more than 600 food stores in Quebec and Ontario, with annual sales of
over $12 billion. Founded in 1947, it is the only major Canadian food distribution company to
have its head office in Quebec, and along with its affiliates and franchisees, employs in Quebec
and Ontario over 65,000 people. At least now he is close to his office, and travel is limited, so
he can once again be a ‘family man’.
Grandchild #6 – Richard
And along comes the final grandchild, Richard Geoffrey
Howard Drover, born in July.
