THROUGH THE YEARS
2005
I wasn’t successful in acquiring a contract this year until November, so pretty much had the
whole year off. Kind of got used to semi-retirement. When I did get a job, it was for 4 months,
taking me into February 2006. It was with National Defence, for the Director, Learning and
Professional Development Programs and Services (DLPDPS). I researched and reviewed
existing competency resource guides and competency profiles within DND and the public
service applicable to the Computer Systems Group of employees at the CS-03 and -04 levels
for the development of a proposed training model.
I developed a Competency Resource Guide, Self-Assessment Tool, Personal Learning Plan,
and Learning Framework and Timetable to support the implementation of a Middle Management
Professional Development Program which would serve as management monitors for work
against the Program.
Christopher and Robyne turned 28 this
year.
Robyne traded her little yellow car in for
this one, a red Hyundai Accent, with
payments much less of a burden for her.
Here she is as a
stunning bridesmaid
at a friend’s
wedding.
This summer, in Toronto,
we met Laura for the first
time, and, who was to
become Tim’s wife.
