Business Management Technology<br />

Every business needs professionals to manage an office, administer<br />

payroll, balance books <strong>and</strong> hire employees to run a business. Our<br />

students receive instruction needed to succeed in a career in<br />

office management <strong>and</strong> accounting. Skills you will gain include:<br />

office software use, management techniques, business principles,<br />

accounting procedures, leadership methods <strong>and</strong> communication<br />

tools. This will prepare you to be a professional in any organization<br />

<strong>and</strong> give you the skills to be a successful business owner.<br />

Business Management Technology is 100% online. <strong>Student</strong>s will<br />

be required to take the <strong>Student</strong> Online Learning Orientation course<br />

(SOLO 100).<br />

Business Management Technology is a Performance-Based<br />

Education (PBE) program.<br />

First-Year Seminar Requirement<br />

<strong>Student</strong>s are required to enroll in the First Year Seminar course,<br />

TSTC 1102, in their first semester attending TSTC unless they<br />

have completed more than 24 credit hours. Please see detailed<br />

information regarding the course <strong>and</strong> exemptions in the Advising<br />
