Drone Pilot Training<br />

FAA Part 107 Test Prep<br />

Overview of the FAA Part 107 Test Prep Drone class. This course<br />

includes the guidelines for flying Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems<br />

(sUAS) (less than 55 lbs.) in the United States, preparation to study<br />

for <strong>and</strong> take the 2-hour, 60-question FAA written test, along with<br />

h<strong>and</strong>s-on flight training<br />

Once the participant has completed the course, they will have<br />

knowledge <strong>and</strong> skills of the following:<br />

• FAA FAR Part 107.<br />

• National Airspace System.<br />

• Sectional Charts <strong>and</strong> Airport Operations.<br />

• Aviation Physiology.<br />

• Crew Resource Management.<br />

• Aeronautical Decision Making.<br />

• Aviation Weather.<br />

• Maintenance <strong>and</strong> Preflight Procedures.<br />

• Emergency Procedures.<br />

• Small Unmanned Aircraft System Performance.<br />

The Drone Pilot Training (Part 107) program is available at the<br />

Abilene, Harlingen <strong>and</strong> Waco campuses.<br />
