Mechatronics<br />
Mechatronics is an emerging field that integrates electrical <strong>and</strong><br />
mechanical engineering, advanced manufacturing, <strong>and</strong> computer<br />
technology. The Mechatronics program serves to build connections<br />
with the manufacturing industry, providing transitioning service<br />
members, National Guard <strong>and</strong> Reservists, veterans, military<br />
spouses, <strong>and</strong> civilians with the skills <strong>and</strong> certifications to find <strong>and</strong><br />
excel in careers in manufacturing. Resources are also available to<br />
assist manufacturers with recruiting, hiring <strong>and</strong> retaining talent<br />
from the military community.<br />
Mechatronics program highlights:<br />
• Department of Defense Approved SkillBridge Program<br />
• Includes seven certifications from the Smart Automation<br />
Certification Alliance (SACA)<br />
• Specialist series that certify Industry 4.0 technical skills in<br />
troubleshooting, programming, maintaining, <strong>and</strong> integrating<br />
systems<br />
