FAST Trac Wind Energy Technician
The FAST Trac Wind Energy Technician program prepares students
for an entry level position in the high-growth wind industry. This
fast-paced 10-week program will provide you with the knowledge
and certifications needed to work in the wind industry. Students
will learn the essential skills through classroom and lab exercises
that are required of entry level wind technicians. Students should
be prepared for a course that is rigorous and fast paced. After
successful completion of the Certified Electronics Technician
Associate section, students will be registered to take the CET(a)
Examination. Successful completion of the exam will provide
students with an industry recognized certification as well as nine
(9) credit hours that can be applied toward an Associate’s Degree
Plan with Texas State Technical College.
The FAST Trac Wind Energy Technician program is available at the
Fort Bend County, Harlingen, and Sweetwater campuses.
