Type 4 Leaf-shaped.<br />

a) a stylised leaf-shape with an inner leaf design (Fig 106. 2523-2528),<br />

2524 SF BKC 2403(C), G371 Fll? Timber-lined drain. Period 5c. Avery<br />

corroded complete seal-box. Similar to Fig 106. 2523. but with an<br />

additional solid metal spot in the centre of the roundel. <strong>The</strong> outer<br />

field and possibly the roundel held green enamel. the inner leaf red<br />

enamel. <strong>The</strong>re appear to be at least three perforations in the base and<br />

there is one set of opposing (?straight-sided) notches in the walls.<br />

Length 43.0 mm. maximum width 22.5 mm. height approximately 10.0 mm.<br />

2526 SF BKC 2917(C), J6 L1. Site clearance. A lid similar to Fig 106.<br />

2525. <strong>The</strong> outer field and roundel contained ?yellow enamel. the inner<br />

leaf ?blue enamel. <strong>The</strong> reverse is recessed. Length 40.0 mm. maximum<br />

width 19.5 mm. thickness 2.0 mm.<br />

2528 SF BKC 3348(C), M10. Modern with Periods 5 and 6. A lid similar to<br />

Fig 106. 2525. <strong>The</strong> outer field and roundel held ?yellow enamel. the<br />

inner leaf ?green enamel. <strong>The</strong> reverse is recessed. Length (incomplete)<br />

33.5 mm. maximum width 19.5 mm. thickness 2.0 mm.<br />
