l’ennesima innovazione che, in ottica “know how transfer”,
significa “casa d’acqua”» e
che, sempre per l’azienda
di Settimo Milanese, ha
dato vita a una vasca a
centro stanza realizzata
interamente in legno dalle
dimensioni molto piccole e
profonde «e che in Occidente
trova perfetta applicazione
sia nei centri wellness e
Spa progettati per i grandi
alberghi, sia sulle terrazze
dei villaggi turistici grazie
alla resistenza del materiale
di cui è fatta». Completamente
coperto di larice
cerato, che emana costantemente
il suo profumo, è
Il bagno che non c’è che,
ancora per Rapsel, torna a
realizzare «un tentativo di
sensorializzare a neutralizzare
le forme create da noi
stessi».
Lontano dall’essere
interpretato e spinto in
our interlocutor explains - I regard as a conceptual error, aimed
at “restricting” a liberatory moment within a defined space».
Conceived for the same company, in 2000, Lavasca represented
the nth innovation which, adopting a “know how transfer” approach,
and using the almond powder applied in Spain, in the
production of coffins, made it possible to realise, with a weight
of just 55 kg, the design of a freestanding tub which, deliberately
distanced from the classic forms of industrial tubs, «evoked
the ancestral security of the maternal womb, without any
weight considerations compromising the design». Requested
to carry out an entirely
different function was, on
the other hand, Ofurò, «a
Japanese term that means
‘house of water’», and
which, again for the Settimo
Milanese company, gave
rise to a tub in the centre of
the room, realised entirely
in wood, with very small,
deep dimensions, «and
which, in the West, is perfectly
implemented in both
Wellness centres and Spas
designed for large hotels,
and on the terraces of tourist
villages, thanks to the
resistance of the material
used to make it». Completely
covered with waxed larch,
which constantly exhales its
perfume, there is Il bagno
che non c’è which, again
for Rapsel, returns to realise
«an attempt to sensorialise
and neutralise the forms
we create».
Far from being interpreted
and correctly pushed on to the market, as occurred, on the
other hand, with the Roma and Muse aesthetic collections,
Girly System embodies the idea «of intimate wellbeing»
which, developed in 2003 for Catalano, led to the creation of
a feminine urinal, where the washbasin too is hygienically designed
to automatically emit water without it being necessary
to touch the faucet, while the «hole more emphatically inserted
in the floor approach», achieved a planarity that avoided any
unhygienic contact.
