Questo il titolo del convegno che ADI Delegazione Veneto e Trentino
Alto Adige con ADI Friuli Venezia Giulia e in collaborazione con
FederlegnoArredo e Confindustria Veneto, hanno organizzato, a metà
maggio, a Venezia, presso l’antico magazzino del porto, di cui riportiamo
alcuni brani dagli interventi dei diversi convenuti.
Il convegno è stato un’importante occasione d’incontro con le aziende
della filiera dell’arredare e i progettisti che hanno indagato tutti i possibili
interrogativi legati al contract.
Il convegno introdotto e coordinato da Philippe Daverio, professore
ordinario di Disegno Industriale, autore e conduttore di programmi
culturali e di design su Rai 3 e Rai 5, ha visto come relatori Gabriella
Lojacono, direttore del master in Management e docente senior
nell’area Strategia della Bocconi; Marco Piva, architetto e designer
professionista esperto in progetti contract a livello internazionale; Diego
Travan, imprenditore amministratore di Interna, gruppo friulano
attivo nella gestione di grandi commesse; Fabio Bortolini, manager
di Veneto Banca, istituto riconosciuto tra i più importanti per il credito
anche in progetti di internazionalizzazione.
Realizzato con il sostegno di Veneto Banca e con il contributo di Eurosportello
e di Centro Estero Veneto.
Il convegno è introdotto da Alex Terzariol per i saluti iniziali e, a
nome della delegazione ADi Veneto e Trentino Alto Adige, di cui
è presidente, ringrazia i numerosi partecipanti.
In apertura descrive le attività della delegazione Adi, da sempre
coinvolta nelle operazioni culturali rivolte al design, promuove
molte iniziative e, come in quella di oggi, coinvolge imprese e
progettisti.
Philippe Daverio, introduce l’argomento parlando del concetto su cui si
fonda l’idea del contracting, il “caveat emptor” (letteralmente: stia in guardia
il compratore) ovvero si premunisca l’acquirente di fronte ai rischi.
In questo modo si toglie ogni responsabilità al venditore una volta conclusa
la vendita e chi compra è responsabile del suo acquisto. Punto di
riferimento sono gli avvocati che hanno
chiesto, per consentire che i loro clienti
siano il più possibile esenti da rischi di
responsabilità, una definizione minuta e
puntigliosa di ogni dettaglio fino alle viti
da utilizzare. Questo serve per ottenere
un’altissima garanzia e rende il capitolato
uno strumento formidabile per portare a
termine il progetto. In questo contesto la
parte progettuale diventa predominante
sulla parte esecutiva.

Contract. Knowing how to do
This is the title of the convention which ADI Delegazione Veneto and Trentino
Alto Adige, with ADI Friuli Venezia Giulia and in collaboration with FederlegnoArredo
and Confindustria Veneto, organised, in mid May, in Venice, at
the old port warehouse. The following are extracts from interventions made
by various people attending the convention.
The convention was an important chance to meet with companies in the
interior design sector, as well as with designers, who explored all possible
questions relative to the contract sector.
The convention, introduced and coordinated by Philippe Daverio, Ordinary
Professor of Industrial Design, author and speaker for cultural and
design programmes on Rai 3 and Rai 5, included, as speakers, Gabriella
Lojacono, Director of the Master in Management and senior lecturer in
Strategy at the Bocconi; Marco Piva, architect and professional designer,
as well as expert in contract sector projects on an international level; Diego
Travan, entrepreneur and Director of Interna, a Friuli group active in
the management of large projects; Fabio Bortolini, Manager of Veneto
Banca, one of the most important credit institutes, including in internationalisation
projects.

The convention was introduced by Alex Terzariol, with initial greetings,
and in the name and on behalf of the ADi Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige
delegation, of which he is Chairman, he went on to thank the various participants.
In his opening remarks, he described the activities of the Adi delegation
which has always been involved in cultural operations focusing on design,
promoting many initiatives and, as in that on the day in question, involving
both companies and designers.
Philippe Daverio, introduced the subject, talking about the concept on which
the idea of contracting is based, the “caveat emptor” (literally: buyer beware) i.e. the
purchaser must first inform himself relative to any risks. In this way, any liability
on the part of the seller is waived, once the sale has been concluded, and whoever
makes the purchase is responsible for his purchase. A reference point in this area
is represented by those lawyers who have requested,
to ensure that their clients are as far
as possible free of any liability risks, a rigorous
and accurate definition of every item, down
to the type of screws to be used in a given
project. This approach helps to achieve a very
high level guarantee and means that specifications
represent a formidable instrument
in carrying a project through to completion.
Within this context, project design assumes a
predominant role over project execution.
