Ob upoštevanju omejitev so koli�inske in kakovostne psihofizikalne preiskave pomembna pomo� v klini�ni
praksi in klini�nem raziskovanju. Pred odlo�itvijo o motenem ob�utku moramo ovrednotiti dejavnike, ki
odlo�ajo o pomenu rezultata. Zaznavni prag je namre� odvisen od ve� zunanjih in notranjih dejavnikov. Le
ocena praga je zato premalo za ovrednotenje klini�ne slike. Upoštevati moramo tudi, da lahko nevrološka
bolezen selektivno prizadene senzori�ni nevron na razli�nih ravneh, razli�ne populacije nevronov in njihove
razli�ne dele.
