Dipl.-Arch. Tomas Mena Lozada, MEng<br />
Architect, graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela<br />
awarded with final project highest-grade recognition.<br />
After an extensive career experience in design, construction<br />
and project managing, he moves to Germany in 2016, to<br />
pursue his master studies. During this time, he co-developed<br />
Cliphut, a parametric building system in wood<br />
focused on self construction using computational design<br />
and digital fabrication. The project was awarded Best Idea<br />
by Metsawood´s Openwood on-line platform among other<br />
publications. In 2018 he obtained the title of Master in<br />
Engineering with Valedictorian mention at the Technische<br />
Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe where still participates<br />
as guest lecturer. Currently he is Senior Computational Designer<br />
at Schueco where he connects different technologies<br />
to innovate in the AEC industry.<br />
Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Daniel Arztmann, MEng<br />
Schüco Int. KG, Bielefeld<br />
Daniel has a Diploma in Architecture and a MEng in Facade<br />
Construction. He works for Schüco in Bielefeld where he<br />
started as a facade consultant for high rise projects. Later<br />
he became head of R&D for emerging markets. Today, he is<br />
the head of the building physics department for international<br />
projects at Schüco. Since 2010 he is teaching in the facade<br />
master program at the Detmold School of Architecture<br />
and Interior Architecture where he today holds the chair for<br />
Facade Construction. He is a specialist in façade design and<br />
construction and an active member of the European Facade<br />
Network (EFN).<br />

Dipl.-Arch. Jhosangela Ramírez, MEng<br />
has a Diploma in Architecture and a MEng in Facade Design.<br />
In her first years of professional experience, she worked as<br />
a design architect for Constracta (Venezuela) and Edifikarch<br />
(Miami). She later on started as a working student at Schüco<br />
International in Bielefeld while doing her Meng in Façade<br />
Design. After finishing her Master's degree, she worked<br />
as a Research Associate at the Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe,<br />
developing a research project for digital<br />
process optimization in Facade Engineering. She currently<br />
works in the computational design department as a Digital<br />
Process Manager at Schüco International.<br />
