Unternehmen entwickeln proaktiv mit
/ Companies Proactively Collaborate
Dass die Silicon Economy nicht am Reißbrett des Fraunhofer
IML, sondern gemeinsam mit der Logistikwirtschaft
entsteht, zeigt das Engagement der Unternehmen in den
Entwicklungsprojekten.
Im Entwicklungsprojekt »Supply Chain Execution« arbeiten
beispielsweise vier große Logistik- und Industrieunternehmen
gemeinsam an der ersten vollständig vernetzten
Silicon-Economy-Plattform: der Sensorhersteller Sick, die
Würth Industrie Service, Großhändler für Produkte der Montageund
Befestigungstechnik, die Schenker AG als Logistikdienstleister
sowie die Commerzbank. Jedes der Unternehmen, die
durch eine gemeinsame Lieferkette verbunden sind, verfolgt
dabei seine eigene Nutzenperspektive. Für die Partner ist das
Projekt auch eine Blaupause für neue Formen der Zusammenarbeit:
Co-Creation wird im Silicon-Economy-Entwicklungsprojekt
Supply Chain Execution großgeschrieben.
Ein klares Commitment zur gemeinschaftlichen Entwicklung
von Hard- und Software legt auch der Stuttgarter Softwareanbieter
AEB SE durch seine Mitarbeit an einer Blockchainbasierten
Zolllösung ab: Das Entwicklungsprojekt BORDER ist
Teil des Projekts zum Aufbau des Europäischen Blockchain-
Instituts. Das Ziel ist, eine durchgängig digitale und weitestgehend
automatisierte Zollabwicklung zu entwickeln. Ein
weiteres Entwicklungsprojekt widmet sich der digitalisierten
Gefahrgutabwicklung. Vor diesem Hintergrund ist auch
das Blockchain Device »Dragon« entstanden, mit dem sich
Gefahrguttransporte rechts- und manipulationssicher organisieren
lassen.
/ It is clear from the commitment displayed by companies in
the development projects that the Silicon Economy is not just
the brainchild of Fraunhofer IML but rather the result of a joint
effort with the logistics industry.
In the “Supply Chain Execution” development project, for
example, four large logistics and industrial companies are
working together on the first fully networked Silicon Economy
platform: the sensor manufacturer Sick, Würth Industrie
Service, a wholesaler of assembly and fastening technology,
the logistics service provider Schenker AG and Commerzbank.
Each of these companies, linked by a common supply chain,
is providing its own user perspective. For the partners, the
project also acts as a blueprint for new forms of collaboration:
Co-creation is top of the agenda in this Silicon Economy
development project.
The Stuttgart-based software provider AEB SE is also demonstrating
its clear commitment to the joint development of software
and hardware through its participation in the creation of
a blockchain-based customs solution. The “BORDER” development
project – part of the “Blockchain Europe” project – aims
to develop uniformly digital and largely automated customs
processing. Another development project is dedicated to the
digitalization of dangerous goods handling. Against this background,
the “Dragon” blockchain device was created, which
can be used to organize shipments of dangerous goods in a
legally secure and tamper-proof manner.
