Materialflusssysteme / Material Flow Systems
Datenhandel in der Logistik
/ Data Exchange in the Logistics Sector
Rund um das Forschungsprojekt DE4L (Data Economy 4
Advanced Logistics) werden Kurier-, Express- und Paketdienstleister
mit Sensoren ausgestattet. Dies soll es ermöglichen,
aus den Sensordaten wertvolle und hochwertige Informationen
u. a. zu Umweltbelastungen, Lautstärke, Erschütterung,
Ortsbezogenheit (GPS) und überdies 3D-Videomaterial zu
generieren.
Lieferung an Tor 2).
for Scalable Data Service and Solutions der Universität Leipzig,
die UNISERV GmbH sowie die fox-COURIER GmbH Leipzig an
dem Projekt beteiligt. Die Laufzeit beträgt drei Jahre (8/2019
– 7/2022).
/ The focus of the research project DE4L (Data Economy 4
Advanced Logistics) is to equip courier, express and parcel service
providers with sensors. The data obtained from the sensors
will enable the generation of valuable, high-quality information
relating to environmental damage, loudness, vibrations
and specific location (GPS), for example, and the subsequent
creation of 3D video content on the basis of this data.
The project’s overall goal is to develop a prototype for a platform
to enable data exchange and trading activities as part of
an intelligent ecosystem for data-based logistics services.
Sensor units installed in delivery vehicles enable environmental
data such as temperature, humidity and air particle levels to
be automatically generated and collected. Delivery drivers can
then modify the collected data and add more precise information
(e.g. deliver to door 2) using communication hardware.
This information can benefit all users of the platform and
results in time and cost savings. To ensure secure and standardized
data communication, IDS connectors (IDS: International
Data Spaces) are used.
As part of the current test phase, the platform has been set up
and made available online along with functions for storing and
retrieving the additional information to be entered.
This project between industry and science involves the following
partners: In addition to the Fraunhofer Institute for
Material Flow and Logistics IML and the Fraunhofer Institute
for Applied Information Technology FIT, the ScaDS Competence
Center for Scalable Data Service and Solutions at Leipzig
University, other project participants include UNISERV GmbH
and fox-COURIER GmbH Leipzig. Project duration is three years
(August 2019 to July 2022).
