Ein Methoden-Baukasten für die
modulare Produktion
/ A Toolkit for Modular
Production Methods
Eine stetig wachsende Variantenvielfalt in der Automobilindustrie
und in anderen Branchen erfordert flexible und adaptive
Fertigungsverfahren. Hier kann die modulare Produktion ihre
Stärken ausspielen: Bei diesem Verfahren findet die Produktion
mittels kleiner, flexibler Fertigungsstationen statt. Den Materialtransport
zwischen Lager und den Stationen übernehmen
dabei autonome mobile Roboter (AMR).
Das Fraunhofer IML, Fraunhofer IPA und die SAP SE untersuchen
in einem gemeinsamen Projekt, welche Methoden
und Prozesse zur Steuerung und Modellierung von solchen
modularen Produktionssystemen geeignet sind. Dabei sollen
einerseits die Methoden und Prozessmodelle aus bestehender
SAP-Software hinsichtlich ihrer Eignung bewertet werden.
Um die Innovationskraft von SAP zu steigern, ist vorgesehen,
andererseits den aktuellen Stand der Technik und Wissenschaft
zu diesem Thema zu beleuchten und zu bewerten.
Nach dem erfolgreichen Projektstart und einer Auswahl
von Produktionsplanungs- und -steuerungsmethoden sowie
-modellen entwickeln die Projektbeteiligten in einem nächsten
Schritt Materialbereitstellungsstrategien zur Versorgung der
modularen Produktion durch AMR.
Daraus entsteht ein Baukasten an Methoden für die modulare
Produktion, dessen Konzepte mittel- und langfristig in
bestehende und zukünftige SAP-Software einfließen sollen.
/ The ever-increasing diversity in the automotive industry and
other sectors requires flexible and adaptive manufacturing
processes. This is where modular production can come into its
own: In this process, production is carried out using small, flexible
manufacturing stations, while autonomous mobile robots
(AMRs) transport the materials between warehouses and these
stations.
As part of a joint project, Fraunhofer IML, Fraunhofer IPA and
SAP SE are investigating which methods and processes are
suitable for managing and modeling these types of modular
production systems. The aim here is to first assess the suitability
of methods and process models from existing SAP software.
Then, to increase SAP’s innovative strength, the researchers
plan to gather information on and evaluate the current state of
the art as regards science and technology in this field.
Having successfully launched the project and selected the methods
and models for planning and managing production, the
project participants are now developing strategies for supplying
materials to the modular production line via AMRs.
This will result in a toolkit of modular production methods that
can then be incorporated into existing and future SAP software
in the medium and long term.
