Replacement Circuit Breaker Accessories<br />
ACCESSORIES, Continued<br />
Standard Undervoltage Release<br />
For undervoltage protection. A solenoid<br />
device mounts within breaker <strong>case</strong>. Coil<br />
must be energized before closing breaker.<br />
Trips breaker when voltage drops below<br />
35 to 70% of coil rating. Picks up and seals<br />
in at 85% of coil rating. For line voltages<br />
up to 250 volts DC or 600 volts AC. Externally<br />
mounted resistors are supplied for<br />
certain ratings. Standard leads extend<br />
18 inches outside of breaker. Longer leads<br />
may be specified.<br />
NOTE: Undervoltage release attachments<br />
are not designed for, and should not be<br />
used as, <strong>circuit</strong> interlocks. For further information,<br />
consult your local Cutler-Hammer<br />
Field Sales Office.<br />
Factory Mounted Undervoltage Releases➊<br />
All of the above undervoltage releases<br />
can be specified for factory mounting at<br />
the same price as listed for the kit. These<br />
attachments have the leads out the side and<br />
are UL listed when factory mounted unless<br />
other non-UL listed modifications are used.<br />
Factory mounted undervoltage releases<br />
only can be supplied for the following<br />
<strong>breakers</strong>:<br />
SELTRONIC Breakers (120V AC 60 Hz<br />
only standard), MC, HMC➋, NC, HNC➋,<br />
PC, PCC, LC, HLC<br />
SELTRONIC Breakers with Remote Trip<br />
Provisions, MC, HMC➋➌, NC, HNC➋➌, PC,<br />
PCC➌, LC, HLC➌.<br />
EB➍, EHB➍, FB➍, HFB➍, FB➎➏ and HFB<br />
magnetic only➎➏, JB, KB, HKB<br />
No UVR available for CA, CAH and HCA<br />
➊ Right hand mounting considered standard<br />
unless specified otherwise except JA, KA, DA,<br />
HKA, LB, LBB, HLB and SELTRONIC available<br />
for left hand only, and JB, KB, HKB left<br />
hand is standard.<br />
➋ Cannot be used with other attachments<br />
except a small 1A-1B auxiliary switch rated<br />
250 volts can be supplied in right hand pole.<br />
➌ Provided with two leads (total of 4) for use<br />
with a remote normally open contact (pushbutton<br />
etc.) to trip the breaker. No external<br />
