Mechanism<br />

Type MC handle mechanisms are linear<br />

drive, fixed depth mechanisms designed<br />

for through-door mounting in standardized<br />

or shallow depth enclosures such as<br />

motor control centers or enclosed <strong>circuit</strong><br />

<strong>breakers</strong>.<br />

Mounting directly to the front of the disconnect,<br />

these mechanisms provide positive<br />

operation and handle indication. Both<br />

disconnect and mechanism mount simultaneously<br />

with mounting hardware supplied<br />

with the mechanism.<br />

For security, the handle can be padlocked<br />

in the OFF position with up to three – 3 ⁄8<br />

inch hasp padlocks. Also, the mechanism<br />

is interlocked with the enclosure door so<br />

that the disconnect must be OFF before<br />

the door can be opened. A defeater is provided<br />

to bypass this interlock.<br />
