Providers may bill Blue Plus the then-current county rate at the
percentage determined by DHS to be eligible for reimbursement
by Medical Assistance plus two percent (2%). Further, the
provider should seek reimbursement for the room and board
portion of facility costs from the local agency (County), not from
Blue Plus.

Blue Cross will reimburse certain categories of providers for these
services, which were formerly reimbursed through the Minnesota
Department of Human Services (DHS).
This change was effective for all enrollees in the Prepaid Medical
Assistance Programs (PMAP), Minnesota Senior Health Options
(MSHO) and Minnesota Disabled Health Options (MnDHO).
