3. Templates<br />
Just a note about templates: simply add the value proposed. You don’t<br />
need to make any maths, we made it for you: for example, as you can see<br />
in the Ancient template, Toughness +6 is gained with augmented Vigor,<br />
Armor and Size.<br />
3.1. Ancient - Template<br />
An Ancient is a ”template” that you can apply on a ”normal” beast, when<br />
you need a more powerful enemy quickly. Ancient animals are found in<br />
the deep of forests or other natural enviroments, usually guarding sacred<br />
places, or objects that needs to remain hidden from the civil men forever.<br />
The creature becomes a Wild Card, if it wasn’t before.<br />
• Attributes: Agility -1 step, remove the ”A” from Smarts, Spirit +2<br />
steps, Strength +3 steps, Vigor +2 steps<br />
• Skills: Fighting +1 step, Guts +2 steps, Intimidate +2 steps, Notice<br />
+2 steps<br />
• Pace: +2 (every type of movement); Parry: +1; Toughness: +6 (+1)<br />
• Edges:<br />
– Chooose one from: Level Headed, Frenzy, Fear. If the creature<br />
had the same Edge before, turn it into the Improved version.<br />
• Special Abilities:<br />
– Armor: +1 step. The skin is sturdier.<br />
– Natural weapons: +1 step of Damage.<br />
– Size +3 (eventually check for Large/Huge/Gargantuan)<br />
