– Fleet Footed: Centaurs have a Pace of 8 and roll a d10 for running.<br />
– Multiattack: They can attack with both their kick and a melee<br />
weapon in a single round with no penalty.<br />

6.5. Centipedes<br />
6.5.1. Centipede, Big<br />
These foot-long centipedes may not seem dangerous, but their bite carries<br />
a deadly poison.<br />
• Attributes: Agility d6, Smarts d4 (A), Spirit d6, Strength d4, Vigor d6<br />
• Skills: Fighting d6, Guts d4, Notice d6<br />
• Pace: 5; Parry: 5; Toughness: 3<br />
• Special Abilities:<br />
– Bite: Str, AP 1, damage.<br />
– Poison: If the centipede does manage to bite a foe successfully<br />
(getting at least a Shaken result) they must make a Vigor roll.<br />
Failure means they become violently ill for 1d6 days, taking a<br />
point of Fatigue. While sick, their Pace is reduced by half, and<br />
they cannot run. Bedrest and plenty of fluids will reduce the time<br />
of illness to half days.<br />
– Size –2<br />
– Small: Opponents take a –2 to their attack rolls against them,<br />
and they get a +2 to their rolls against normal-sized foes.<br />
– Wall Walker: Centipedes can crawl up most surfaces without<br />
making a Climbing roll.<br />

These 15 foot-long centipedes are strong and dangerous: their bite carries<br />
a deadly poison, and they have a tough carapace.<br />
