13.2.1. Crystal Statue<br />
These appear to be carved from a block of quartz or some other crystal.<br />
They are frighteningly quick, vicious opponents, lacking in patience and<br />
guile.<br />
• Attributes: Agility d8, Smarts d6, Spirit d8, Strength d8, Vigor d8<br />
• Skills: Fighting d8, Guts d8, Notice d6, Stealth d6 Pace: 8; Parry: 6;<br />
Toughness: 8 (2)<br />
• Edges: Fleet-Footed, Improved Frenzy<br />
• Gear:<br />
– Sword: Str+d8. These are carved from the same crystal as the<br />
statue, and share the statues’ vulnerability to sonics (see below).<br />
• Special Abilities:<br />
– Armor +2: The statue is made of solid crystal.<br />
– Construct: Though they are sentient, crystal statues are still considered<br />
constructs in many ways. As a result, they gain the following<br />
bonuses: +2 to recover from being Shaken; no additional<br />
damage from called shots; constructs do not suffer from poison<br />
or disease.<br />
– Vulnerability (Sonics): Crystal statues are vulnerable to sonic<br />
and sound-based attacks; they cause the statues to resonate and<br />
possibly shatter! Any time a statue is hit with such an attack and<br />
is Shaken or Wounded, it must immediately make a Vigor roll or<br />
shatter, killing it instantly.<br />
13.2.2. Iron Statue<br />
These statues can also be of any size or shape, though they are invariably<br />
larger and bulkier than crystal statues.<br />
• Attributes: Agility d6, Smarts d6, Spirit d8, Strength d12+2, Vigor<br />
d10<br />
• Skills: Fighting d6, Guts d10, Notice d4<br />
• Pace: 6 ; Parry: 5; Toughness: 11 (3)<br />
• Edges: Improved Sweep<br />
• Special Abilities:<br />
