7.3. DJINNI (WC) CHAPTER 7. D<br />

– Swallow Whole: With two raises on it’s bite attack, the Rex has<br />

swallowed the victim whole (Size +1 or smaller creatures only).<br />

Those swallowed take 3d6 damage against their base Toughness<br />

each round until dead or freed. A swallowed character can try<br />

to cut their way free with a dagger or knife by making an Agility<br />

roll at -2; roll damage against Toughness 7. If you can do at least<br />

one Wound, you’ve sliced a hole big enough to slip free; you’re<br />

automatically Shaken once out. If the Rex is killed, you can be<br />

freed from the outside in a single round.<br />

7.3. Djinni (WC)<br />

Ancient, powerful spirits from a desert dimension, djinn are sometimes<br />

captured and forced into servitude by particularly powerful sorcerers. Lesser<br />

djinn are used as guardians and assassins by those who summon them, as<br />

they lack the power of wish fulfillment their more powerful cousins, the<br />

True Djinn, possess.<br />

• Attributes: Agility d10, Smarts d10, Spirit d12+2, Strength d12+1,<br />

Vigor d10<br />

• Skills: Fighting d10, Guts d12, Notice d8<br />

• Pace: 6; Parry: 7; Toughness: 9<br />

• Special Abilities:<br />

– Flight: Djinn’s are creatures of the air; they fly at a speed of 16”.<br />

– Gaseous Form: The Djinn may convert it’s body into mist by making<br />

a Vigor roll. While in this form, they can squeeze themselves<br />

through openings as small as an inch across, and they generally<br />

follow the Ethereal rules (see SW:EX page 141)<br />

– Invisibility: As the spell. The Djinn becomes invisible by making<br />

a Spirit roll; it remains invisible for three rounds. If it takes any<br />

action other than movement (including Flight) while invisible, it<br />

must make another Spirit roll at -2 to maintain the effect. The<br />

djinn can’t use it’s Whirlwind or Gaseous Form powers while invisible,<br />

nor can it turn invisible while either of these powers is<br />

already in effect.<br />

– Invulnerability: Djinn are immune to all attacks save those from<br />

magic or magical/blessed weapons.<br />

– Partially incorporeal: Djinni is partially incorporeal at all times.<br />

This confers to them +2 Toughness bonus.<br />

– Punch: Str damage.<br />
