These creatures a bizarre amalgam of an eagle and a horrific old woman.<br />
They’re known for luring travelers to their lair with their song in order to<br />
devour them.<br />
• Attributes: Agility d8, Smarts d8, Spirit d8, Strength d6, Vigor d10<br />
• Skills: Fighting d6, Guts d8, Intimidation d6, Notice d6<br />
• Pace: 6 ; Parry: 5; Toughness: 7<br />
• Edges: Improved Frenzy<br />
• Gear:<br />
– Short sword: Str+d6<br />
• Special Abilities:<br />
– Claws: Str+d4<br />
– Flight: Harpies have a Flying Pace of 15”, with an Acceleration<br />
of 5”.<br />
– Song: Harpies can charm targets in a group up to the size of<br />
a Large Burst Template up to Range Smart x2 away with their<br />
song. Everyone in the Template must make a Spirit roll at –2 to<br />
resist the song; those who fail fall victim to the Puppet power.<br />
They’ll be compelled to go to the harpy, who will consume them<br />
at it’s leisure if they’re not stopped. If anyone tries to prevent<br />
the victims from marching to their death, they’ll attack (though<br />
they’ll get another Spirit roll, again at –2, to break the spell).<br />
11.3. Hawks<br />

These birds of prey are often tamed and used for hunting.<br />
