14.1. Manticore (WC)<br />
These freakish creatures combine a lions body with the face of a man,<br />
topped with massive bat-like wings and armed with a wicked spiked tail.<br />
They will hunt and kill almost anything smaller than itself, but it’s favorite<br />
food is man!<br />
• Attributes: Agility d8, Smarts d8 (A), Spirit d8, Strength d12+3, Vigor<br />
d10<br />
• Skills: Climbing d6, Fighting d10, Guts d10, Intimidation d10, Notice<br />
d8, Shooting d8, Tracking d6<br />
• Pace: 8; Parry: 7; Toughness: 11 (1)<br />
• Edges: Improved Frenzy<br />
• Special Abilities:<br />
– Armor +1: Thick fur.<br />
– Bite/Claw: Str+d6<br />
– Flight: Manticores have a Flying Pace of 15”, with an Acceleration<br />
of 5”.<br />
– Size +3<br />
– Tail Spikes: A manticore can use it’s tail as a striking weapon<br />
against targets in it’s rear facing, doing Str+d8 damage. If it<br />
makes no other attacks in a round, it can launch a barrage of<br />
spikes; these have a 3/6/12 range and do 2d6+2 damage.<br />
14.2. Medusa (WC)<br />
The fabled creature of Greek legend, a medusa appears as a woman with<br />
a perfect body, but a hideous face topped with snakes in place of hair.<br />
