10.1. Gargoyle<br />

Just as their name implies, these are creatures of living stone, with wings,<br />

claws, and fangs. They are cunning, powerful creatures.<br />

• Attributes: Agility d4, Smarts d8 (A), Spirit d8, Strength d12, Vigor<br />

d10<br />

• Skills: Fighting d8, Guts d8, Notice d4<br />

• Pace: 6; Parry: 6; Toughness: 12 (5)<br />

• Special Abilities:<br />

– Armor +5: Gargoyles are solid stone.<br />

– Claws/Fangs: Str+d6<br />

– Construct: As living statues, gargoyles get the following bonuses:<br />

+2 to recover from being Shaken; no additional damage from<br />

called shots; constructs do not suffer from poison or disease.<br />

– Flying: Gargoyles have a Flying Pace of 10”, with an Acceleration<br />

of 5”.<br />

– Stillness: When a gargoyle takes no action during a round, in<br />

an appropriate environment (on castle or church walls, perched<br />

on a cavern ledge, etc.), it can appear to be nothing more than<br />

a statue; make a Notice roll at -2 to notice. They can remain<br />

motionless like this for weeks or more at a time, though they are<br />

completely awake and aware the entire time.<br />

10.2. Ghoul<br />

Ghouls are undead who feast on human flesh (the more decomposed, the<br />

better). They appear as emaciated humans with gray, dried skin drawn<br />

taut across a framework of bone. They are bestial in nature, little better<br />

than animals.<br />

• Attributes: Agility d8, Smarts d8 (A), Spirit d6, Strength d6, Vigor d8<br />
