ZONE (DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS) 1.32<br />

2. Schools, colleges, and churches or similar places <strong>of</strong> worship including parish<br />

houses, parsonages, rectories, convents, and dormitories accessory thereto. Athletic<br />

activities in conjunction with a church or similar place <strong>of</strong> worship and on the same<br />

lot or contiguous lots may be permitted subject to a Use Permit.<br />

3. Public utility buildings and facilities when necessary for serving the surrounding<br />

territory; provided that no public business <strong>of</strong>fices and no repair or storage facilities<br />

are maintained therein.<br />

4. Publicly owned and operated parks, playgrounds, and community buildings and<br />

other recreational uses.<br />

5. Accessory uses and buildings customarily incidental to any use allowed in this<br />

Section provided that if any accessory building contains sleeping quarters or<br />

otherwise constitutes a guesthouse, it shall maintain the side yard otherwise<br />

required and shall not be closer than forty (40) feet to the rear lot line.<br />

6. Grazing and harvesting <strong>of</strong> field, tree, or bush crops including flowers.<br />

7. Sales stands for the sale <strong>of</strong> farm or ranch products produced on the premises or<br />

items similar to these products or related to the sale <strong>of</strong> these products subject to the<br />

securing <strong>of</strong> a Use Permit.<br />

8. Public and private riding stables and boarding stables providing that the site<br />

contains at least ten (10) acres and that the building housing animals [shall be] set<br />

back from all lines a distance <strong>of</strong> not less than one hundred (100) feet.<br />

9. Corrals for the keeping <strong>of</strong> horses and other livestock owned by the resident.<br />

10. Temporary outdoor events such as rodeos, circuses, dances, and auctions and other<br />

associated activities are permitted subject to securing a Use Permit. (See Article<br />

VII, Subsection 7.15).<br />

11. Bed and breakfast uses are permitted subject to securing a use permit (See Article<br />

VII, Subsection 7.15).<br />

12. Group homes for the handicapped, so long as the supplemental conditions <strong>of</strong><br />

Section 2.67 are complied with.<br />

13. Wireless communications facilities may be located on property owned by a<br />

governmental entity, including a school district or community college district, or by<br />

a church, upon obtaining a permit as provided for in Article VIII.<br />

14. Home occupations.<br />

B. Height requirements.<br />

The height <strong>of</strong> buildings shall not exceed thirty (30) feet nor two (2) stories.<br />

C. Yard regulations.<br />

1. Front yard: There shall be a front yard having a depth <strong>of</strong> not less than forty (40) feet.<br />

(See Article II, General Regulations, for through lots, corner lots)<br />
