INSTRUCTIONAL
GOAL:
To understand the nature of AIDS and the actions necessary to prevent,
limit, and control its development.
Sub-Goal 1. To understand what AIDS is and what causes it.
EXPECTED
OUTCOMES
The Student:
defines the term AIDS;
describes how virus and bacteria attack the cells;
distinguishes among the types of infectious agents;
describes the AIDS virus action on the immune system.
Sub-Goal 2. To recognize how the AIDS virus is transmitted.

The Student:
