approaches: (1) have students write role plays as homework assignments;
(2) have students write down responses and then role-play in
front of the class; (3) have students generate a list of challenging
"lines" and then have a student read the lines to the class and have
each student give a response; and (4) have students develop and act
out plays (that is, longer scripts). Other ideas will surely emerge as
you use this curriculum.
