Disappeared in Seeduwa, held <strong>on</strong> 27 October 2012. It was fur<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r reported<br />
that Mr. Brito Fernando, President <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> FOD, was told that he would also be<br />
arrested <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> charges <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> showing a video documentary against President<br />
Mahindra Rajapaksa. After <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> legality <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> arrests were c<strong>on</strong>tested, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> six<br />
pers<strong>on</strong>s were released, and Mr. Brito was not arrested.<br />

Supuesta penalización de la píldora Antic<strong>on</strong>ceptiva de Emergencia. Según<br />
la información recibida, en abril de 2009, el C<strong>on</strong>greso de H<strong>on</strong>duras aprobó<br />
el Decreto No. 54-2009, que establece sanci<strong>on</strong>es penales para la promoción<br />
de uso, venta, compra y cualquier política relaci<strong>on</strong>ada c<strong>on</strong> la Píldora<br />
Antic<strong>on</strong>ceptiva de Emergencia, así como toda comercialización de fármacos<br />
antic<strong>on</strong>ceptivos de emergencia. Violaci<strong>on</strong>es al decreto implicarían las<br />
mismas sanci<strong>on</strong>es que se imp<strong>on</strong>en para la penalización del aborto en el<br />
Código Penal de H<strong>on</strong>duras, las cuales oscilan entre los tres a diez años de<br />
prisión para cualquier pers<strong>on</strong>a que practique o se someta a un aborto. El 15<br />
de mayo de 2009, el ent<strong>on</strong>ces presidente José Manuel Zelaya Rosales vetó<br />
el Decreto, enviándolo así a la Corte Suprema de Justicia para que se<br />
pr<strong>on</strong>uncie sobre su c<strong>on</strong>stituci<strong>on</strong>alidad. Mientras tanto, la Secretaria de la<br />
Salud aprobó el Acuerdo No. 2744, que incluía las mismas prohibici<strong>on</strong>es en<br />
cuanto a la antic<strong>on</strong>cepción de emergencia. El 14 de febrero de 2012, la<br />
Corte Suprema c<strong>on</strong>firmó el Decreto y lo declaró c<strong>on</strong>stituci<strong>on</strong>al.
