<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>ficer <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> area. The victim also stated that she was forced to have three<br />
aborti<strong>on</strong>s. She also reported that she had been threatened by <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> perpetrator not to<br />
talk about <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> matter with any<strong>on</strong>e, and that when she reported <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> facts to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
police stati<strong>on</strong>, she was threatened not to file a complaint. It is finally reported that<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> mo<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> victim has been disappeared for <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> last 10 m<strong>on</strong>ths and her<br />
whereabouts remain unknown.<br />
Allegati<strong>on</strong>s <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> acts <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> intimidati<strong>on</strong>, excessive use <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> force and arbitrary detenti<strong>on</strong><br />
against individuals exercising peacefully <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir rights to freedom <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> associati<strong>on</strong>, <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
peaceful assembly and <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> expressi<strong>on</strong>. According to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> informati<strong>on</strong> received, <strong>on</strong> 10<br />
April 2012, Mr. Mohammed Salih Al-Bajady was c<strong>on</strong>victed <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>, inter alia, being a<br />
member <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> human rights NGO Saudi Civil and Political <strong>Rights</strong> Associati<strong>on</strong>,<br />
and calling <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> families <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> political detainees to protest and hold sit-ins. In late<br />
March 2012, prosecutors reportedly imposed a foreign travel ban <strong>on</strong> human rights<br />
activists Mr. Muhammad Fahd al-Qahtani, Mr. Walid Abu al-Khair and Mr.<br />
Mukhlif Shammari for ―security reas<strong>on</strong>s.‖ On 10 March 2012, a sit-in at <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
University <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> King Khaled in Abha was allegedly met with excessive use <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> force.<br />
On 13 March 2012, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> court hearing related to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> case <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Mr. Fadhil Ali Al-<br />
Sulaiman, who was charged with dem<strong>on</strong>strating, resisting arrest and injuring <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
security forces in relati<strong>on</strong> to his participati<strong>on</strong> in two peaceful assemblies in H<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>uf<br />
in March 2011, was postp<strong>on</strong>ed.<br />
