Biomolecule Separations
Aqueous size exclusion chromatography employing columns packed with polymeric media can be
extremely useful when investigating biomolecules and their derived species with broad molecular
weight distributions. Examples include PEGylated proteins and complex polysaccharides which find
use in biopharma applications. The wide pore size distribution of polymeric SEC columns compared
to silica-based material are excellent for samples with polydispersities greater than one.
