<strong>2005</strong>-<strong>06</strong> – <strong>2015</strong>-<strong>16</strong> <strong>California</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Rail</strong> <strong>Plan</strong><br />

was opened for commuters traveling via Fuller<strong>to</strong>n. The Orange County <strong>to</strong><br />

Los Angeles Line extends as far south as Oceanside in San Diego County.<br />

The SCRRA contracts with Connex <strong>Rail</strong>road LLC <strong>to</strong> operate the commuter rail<br />

service, Bombardier for rail equipment maintenance, Los Angeles County<br />

Sheriff’s Department for security, Herzog Contracting Corporation for track and<br />

structure maintenance, and Mass Electric Construction Company for signal and<br />

communications maintenance.<br />

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE<br />

The SCRRA is a joint powers agency consisting of 11 board members and a<br />

number of member agencies. Member agencies include Los Angeles County<br />

Metropolitan Commission, Orange County Transportation Authority, Riverside<br />

County Transportation Commission, San Bernardino Associated Governments,<br />

and Ventura County Transportation Commission. Ex-officio member agencies<br />

include Southern <strong>California</strong> Association of Governments, San Diego Association<br />

of Governments, and the <strong>State</strong> of <strong>California</strong>.<br />

ROUTE AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION<br />

Metrolink presently operates 142 daily trains weekdays, serving 54 stations on the<br />

following seven lines:<br />

Ventura County Line – Montalvo, Oxnard, Camarillo, Moorpark, Simi Valley,<br />

Chatsworth, Northridge, Van Nuys, Bob Hope Burbank Airport, Down<strong>to</strong>wn<br />

Burbank, Glendale, Los Angeles.<br />

Antelope Valley Line – Lancaster, Palmdale, Vincent Grade/Ac<strong>to</strong>n,<br />

Via Princessa, Santa Clarita, Newhall, Sylmar/San Fernando, Sun Valley,<br />

Down<strong>to</strong>wn Burbank, Glendale, Los Angeles.<br />

San Bernardino Line – San Bernardino, Rial<strong>to</strong>, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga,<br />

Upland, Montclair, Claremont, Pomona (North), Covina, Baldwin Park, El Monte,<br />

Cal <strong>State</strong> L.A., Los Angeles.<br />

Riverside Line – Riverside, Pedley, East Ontario, Down<strong>to</strong>wn Pomona, Industry,<br />

Montebello/Commerce, Los Angeles.<br />

Orange County Line – Oceanside, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna<br />

Niguel/Mission Viejo, Irvine, Tustin, Santa Ana, Orange, Anaheim, Fuller<strong>to</strong>n,<br />

Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs, Commerce, Los Angeles.<br />

Inland Empire-Orange County Line – San Bernardino, Riverside Down<strong>to</strong>wn,<br />

Riverside La Sierra, West Corona, Anaheim Canyon, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin,<br />

Irvine, Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente,<br />

Oceanside.<br />

91 Line – Riverside Down<strong>to</strong>wn, Riverside La Sierra, West Corona, Fuller<strong>to</strong>n,<br />

Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles.<br />
