System Status<br />

This section describes viewing system status <strong>and</strong> event log information from the unit’s Web Interface.<br />
Click on the Status button to access system <strong>and</strong> event log information. See the following sections:<br />

• Event Log<br />
Help <strong>and</strong> Exit buttons also appear on each page of the Web interface; click the Help button to access online help; click<br />
the Exit button to exit the application.<br />

Status<br />
The Status tab showing the system status is displayed automatically when you log into the Web Interface. It also is the<br />
default window displayed when you click the Status button on the left side of the window.<br />
The Status tab shows the System Status <strong>and</strong> the System Traps.<br />
System Status<br />
The basic system status is shown in this section, including the version number of the embedded software.<br />
Systems Traps<br />
The status of system traps is shown in this section. System traps occur when the <strong>5012</strong>-<strong>SUR</strong> encounters irregularities.<br />
Deleting system traps has no effect on the operation of the <strong>5012</strong>-<strong>SUR</strong>. System traps also are sent to an SNMP manager<br />
station (if so configured). See “Alarm Traps” in the <strong>Tsunami</strong> <strong>MP.11</strong>/QB.11 Reference Manual for a list <strong>and</strong> description of<br />
the traps.<br />
