MAC Authentication (BSU Only)<br />
MAC authentication is available only for BSUs.<br />
Encryption<br />
NOTE: Be sure to set the encryption parameters <strong>and</strong> change the default passwords.<br />
You can protect the wireless data link by using encryption. In addition to Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP), the unit<br />
supports Advanced Encryption St<strong>and</strong>ard (AES) 128-bit encryption. To provide even stronger encryption, the AES CCM<br />
Protocol is also supported.<br />
Encryption keys can be 5 (64-bit), 13 (WEP 128-bit), or 16 (AES 128-bit) characters in length. Both ends of the wireless<br />
data link must use the same parameter values.<br />
Click Configure > Security > Encryption sub-tab to set encryption keys for the data transmitted <strong>and</strong> received by the<br />
unit. Note that all devices in one network must use the same encryption parameters to communicate to each other.<br />
