• Refer to Section 4.5.1.11, Material Handling Storage and Safety, if hazardousmaterials will be stored in this area.INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE• Inspect the staging area to ensure that all temporary <strong>BMP</strong>s are installed andfunctioning.• If the area is paved, it should be swept on a regular basis to keep dust down.• The staging area is subject to a pre-grade inspection to make sure alltemporary <strong>BMP</strong>s are installed and functioning, a winterization inspection tomake sure the site is stable through the winter months, and a finalinspection to ensure that the site is restored to the pre-project condition orbetter and any intermediate inspections as needed by the permittingauthority.If the staging area is going to be utilized over two or more grading seasons, thearea should be winterized by the end of each grading season (October 15).
