If a project has unpaved parking or vehicle trafficareas, work with TRPA or the local jurisdiction to bring that property intocompliance through either paving or restoring the area. All properties in the Lake Tahoe Region are subject to land coverageregulations that limit the amount of disturbance in the watershed. The landcapability and land coverage shall be verified prior to any changes in coverage(e.g. paving or restoring). Refer to Chapter 4, BMP Toolkit, Section 4.2.3 SoilStabilization (Non-Vegetative), and Chapter 7 Permitting for moreinformation. This unpaved driveway should be paved.
