ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Several people have contributed towards my doctoral study at the
University of Zululand. First, I am indebted to the Almighty God,
who begun the good work in me and also made sure that I
completed it in time. I would like to express my sincere
appreciation to my supervisors, Prof. D.N. Ocholla and Prof. M.
Adigun for their guidance, compelling attitudes and financial support
that was freely accorded to me from the respective departments.
